Sharon Butler joined Roarty & Co. Legal Costs Accountants in 2016, bringing with her a strong background in both IT and law. She graduated with honours from University College Cork, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Law (BCL) in 2014 and a Master’s degree in Criminal Justice (LLM) in 2015.
Before joining Roarty & Co., Sharon worked at NASC, the Irish Immigrant Support Centre, where she provided legal advice through a walk-in service and addressed client queries in legal clinics. This role helped her develop a practical, client-focused approach to legal solutions.
At Roarty & Co., Sharon regularly represents clients before County Registrars in Circuit Court jurisdictions and before the Legal Costs Adjudicators in Dublin. Her responsibilities include preparing and presenting a wide variety of legal cases which often include complex legal issues, to ensure the best possible outcomes for clients when their matters proceed to the adjudication of legal costs.
Sharon is a member of the Irish Institute of Legal Costs Accountants (ILCA), reflecting her commitment to high professional standards and staying updated with developments in legal costs accounting.
